The 5th Annual International Business Research Forum
http://www.sbm.temple.edu/ibrf2004

Saturday, March 27
8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Temple University Main Campus

Keynote Speaker
Bruce Fadem
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Wyeth Pharmaceuticals

Changes wrought by information technology (IT) are profound and need to be expressly incorporated in international business theory development. Theoretical concepts such as transaction costs, information asymmetry, and cultural distance and operational concepts such as product development cycle, product differentiation, and market segmentation may need to be recast in light of the growth of IT.

This research forum will foster a dialogue among scholars studying
the effect of IT on international business strategy and theory development in an attempt to develop a more integrated view of the working of the modern multinational corporation in the global marketplace.

Twelve papers will be selected for presentation in four sessions
during the forum.

Presented by The Fox School's Temple CIBER and Irwin L. Gross eBusiness Institute.
