MBA Programs Ranked Top 20 and Top 70 by U.S. News
http://www.fox.temple.edu/rankings.htm

The Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University has been ranked as one of the top 70 full-time MBA programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in the 2005 “Best Graduate Schools” rankings.

In addition, The Fox School’s graduate programs in International Business were ranked among the top 20 in the U.S. The Fox School and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, were the only Philadelphia-area full-time MBA programs ranked by U.S. News.

“We are pleased that U.S. News & World Report has again recognized the excellence of our MBA programs,” said M. Moshe Porat, Dean of The Fox School. The Fox School’s MBA programs have been ranked by U.S. News for the past three consecutive years.

U.S. News also recognized The Fox School’s strength in International Business when it ranked the school’s graduate programs in International Business 17th in the nation. This was the second consecutive year that the program was recognized by the publication.

"The ranking is recognition of The Fox School's outstanding international MBA program, cutting-edge faculty research and teaching, and significant outreach efforts through our Institute for Global Management Studies [IGMS],” said Arvind Phatak, executive director of IGMS.

The U.S. News survey measures an MBA program’s quality and selectivity, and the career success of its graduates to develop the rankings. Quality is assessed through a survey of business school deans and program directors and corporate recruiters. A school’s selectivity is determined based on the percentage of students who are admitted, the entering students’ GMAT scores and their undergraduate grade point average. The ranking also factors in the career success of graduates as measured by average starting salary and bonus, and the percentage employed at time of graduation and three months out.

In addition to the latest U.S. News rankings, Financial Times has ranked The Fox School’s Executive MBA program 14th in the nation, and Forbes also has ranked The Fox School’s MBA in the top 75 in the U.S.

U.S. News recognized The Fox School’s MBA program in Healthcare Management among the top 35 programs in the nation in its bi-annual Healthcare specialty rankings last April. The Fox School’s undergraduate business programs were also recognized by U.S. News as among the top 100 in the nation, and the School’s undergraduate International Business and Risk Management programs were ranked among the top 15 and top 10 in the U.S., respectively.
