Brian Duperreault spoke to over 300 Greater Philadelphia industry leaders, students and faculty at The Fox School of Business and Management's 16th Annual Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science Awards Luncheon.
"This event is a testament to the vitality of our academic community – past, present and future – and to the strong alliance between our academic community and the financial services community," stated M. Moshe Porat, dean of The Fox School.
"Today’s luncheon pays tribute to an industry leader who is making a difference not only in the financial services community, but in the larger community as well," he continued.
The luncheon also featured several awards for student achievement including scholarships on behalf of Casualty Actuaries of the Mid-Atlantic Region, National Association of Insurance Women, ACE, CIGNA, Towers Perrin and Travelers.
The luncheon is presented by The Fox School's department of Risk, Insurance and Healthcare Management and its award-winning Sigma Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma.
The Fox School's RIHM department, one of the largest of its kind in the world, offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in actuarial science, healthcare management, risk management and insurance.
