Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management is pleased to announce the creation of the Ronald O. Perelman Professorship in Entrepreneurial Finance. The professorship is named in honor of the creative leadership of entrepreneur Ronald O. Perelman, chairman and chief executive officer of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings, Inc.

Imagine replaying a classroom lecture until you’ve grasped a difficult point or until you finished reviewing for an exam. Fox School of Business students participating in the pilot of Anystream’s new Apreso Classroom at Temple University are able to do just that, playing ”classroom captures” via the Internet over and over again within seconds of their in-class recording.

Fox Alum Jason Read Wins Olympic Gold in Athens
Former Temple rower and Fox alum Jason Read won gold as part of the U.S. men’s eight team, which ended a 40-year Olympics winless streak. The United States had won the event in every Olympics from 1920 to 1964, but was shut out until Read and company came home in 5:42.48, more than a second ahead of silver medalist the Netherlands.
