Nobel Laureate Speaks at World Congress of Health in Barcelona
The Fox School’s Professor Tom Getzen, executive director of the International Health Economics Association, co-hosted the 5th World Congress of Health Economists: Investing in Health held at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, July 2005.
Over 1900 academics, consultants, and government officials attended sessions on 18 different themes, including epidemics and poverty, consumer and doctor behavior, cross-national issues, and disparities in health.
