Young entrepreneur makes $1 million gift to The Fox School's new building, Alter Hall
The school's Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute suite will be named after Fox EMBA alumnus Raza Bokhari
Physician-turned-entrepreneur Raza Bokhari, 39, started his “great adventure” 16 years ago when he came to the United States from Pakistan and took his first job at a startup pathology lab in North Philadelphia. Located at Fifth and Lehigh, the lab wasn’t far from Temple University, a school he knew little about at the time.
Bokhari later became acquainted with Temple and earned his executive M.B.A. from the university in 2001. Recently, he gave back to his former North Philadelphia neighbor when he pledged $1 million to the Fox School of Business' new Alter Hall building.

Fox's Center for Student Professional Development give students a competitive edge
Last year, one green freshman, Aalok Joshi (Fox BBA ’08), went up against more than 20 seniors in competition for an internship with Cintas Uniforms.
But Joshi had a competitive edge that no one else had — an advantage he had developed at The Fox School’s Center for Student Professional Development — and that edge got him the internship.
The Fox School CSPD, one of several at Temple run by individual schools and colleges, gives students the tools to go from the classroom to the boardroom through its career preparation services.
