Distinguished Wharton Professor Cummins Joins The Fox School
Dr. J. David Cummins joins The Fox School of Business as the Joseph E. Boettner Chair of Risk Management, Insurance and Financial Institutions. He will also serve as the Director of the Advanta Center for Research in Financial Institutions and as a member of the Fox Research Roundtable.

Prior to joining The Fox School, Dr. Cummins was the Harry J. Loman Professor of Insurance and Risk Management and the Executive Director of the S.S. Huebner Foundation at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania for more than three decades.

Alumni preview "Take-a Seat, Leave a Legacy" campaign at Open House
The Alumni & Friends Open House, attended by close to 300 persons, provided an opportunity for Associate Dean John DeAngelo to update alumni on Alter Hall construction progress, show a rendering of the new Alumni Lounge, and preview the "Take-a-Seat, Leave a Legacy" campaign for Alter Hall.

Associate Dean for Development Howard Cohen introduced outgoing Alumni Association President Bret Perkins and incoming President Mike Verrill and Vice-President Ben Cross.

Following the reception, attendees were invited to attend the Temple vs. University Massachusetts game, which the Owls won 98-89.
 

Academic Analytics ranks Fox School’s Finance No. 4 in U.S. for research productivity
The Department of Finance in the Fox School of Business at Temple University is ranked No. 4 nationally in the research rankings released by Academics Analytics on the scholarly production of professors at research universities in the United States.
