The Fox School’s BBA in MIS ranked in U.S. top 10 by TechRepublic.com

The Fox School’s bachelor of business administration major in Management Information Systems (BBA in MIS) was recently named a top 10 U.S. program for information technology (IT) by techrepublic.com, the Web’s largest community of IT leaders.

Techrepublic.com selected the Fox School’s BBA in MIS after evaluating more than 100 undergraduate business-oriented IT programs across the nation. They based their selection on curriculum, placement, available resources, value, and overall strength of each program, and also by interviewing alumni and corporate stakeholders.

Fox School leadership award presented to Stephen A. Cozen and Patrick J. O’Connor

Temple University’s Fox School of Business presented Stephen A. Cozen and Patrick J. O’Connor, chairman and vice chairman of the law firm Cozen O’Connor, with the 2008 Musser Award for Excellence, the highest honor awarded by the Fox School.

The Fox School selected Cozen and O’Connor as award winners because they exemplify excellence in business leadership and demonstrate extraordinary commitment and generosity to the communities in which they work and live.

Fox’s socially responsible business making a splash in going green

What do business and the environment have in common? Many of the top businesses in the world are coming up with ways to make a positive social, environmental and economic impact, including educating the next generation of business executives.

This is the foundation on which The Fox School of Business’ Students for Responsible Business (SRB) was founded in 2006. Most recently on Oct. 22, SRB took part in the first-ever Campus Sustainability Day, an international campus-wide event.
