MIS Faculty Ranked Top 10 for Research by The Chronicle of Higher Education

The Fox School’s Management Information Systems (MIS) faculty was ranked in the Top 10 for research productivity by The Chronicle of Higher Education for 2007-08.

“It is not surprising that our MIS group is ranked so highly. We have very talented faculty who are already stars in their respective areas and are producing relevant and academically rigorous research that is being published in the top journals,” said Fox School Vice Dean Rajan Chandran.

SAP, Liquidhub, and Sabre Systems Executives Honored at IT Awards Ceremony

Temple University’s Fox School of Business honored three top technology leaders at its ninth Annual Fox Information Technology Awards on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, during a reception at Temple University’s main campus.

Awardees included Bill McDermott, president, Global Field Operations and member, Executive Board, SAP AG; Jonathan A. Brassington, founding partner and CEO, LiquidHub Inc.; and Philip P. Jaurigue, president, Sabre Systems, Inc.

Should Your Organization Blog?
An Institute for Business and Information Technology Project

Organizations are increasingly using blogs in an effort to find new ways to reach out to their customers, as well as investors, partners, suppliers, and the media. The Fox School’s Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT) established a project with corporate members Campbell Soup Company and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to study corporate blogging.

More than 25 blogs were studied for their message, audience, and the tools they employ in industries such as manufacturing, travel, technology, education, pharmaceuticals, and food.
