EDIT 2004

Seventeen participants from Papua New Guinea, Marianas, Thailand, Korea, India, New Zealand, Fiji, Myanmar, Thailand, Australia, Macau, Singapore and Japan attended the annual EDIT (Executive Development Institute in Tourism).

Chris Lamers, General Manager, Tourism, Positively Wellington Tourism, Australia stated:
"I loved the course (it exceeded my expectations) and I learned a lot, as
well as getting a lot of new ideas. Issues around security, tourism
development and community support have gone to the top of my priority list.
While they are still not serious issues, dealing with them now will prevent
major issues in the future. I have learned skills that I will apply to this
role, and future roles as well."

Details of next year’s program will be available shortly.
