On June 26, Dan Spears, Fred Collison, and Walter Jamieson participated in a well-attended seminar on tourism development in Vietnam. The audience consisted of regional and national representation from academics, industry and government. The Seminar was sponsored by the Hue School of Tourism and the School of Travel Industry Management, University of Hawaii, Manoa. Presentations included “Promotion of Investment in Tourism Infrastructure” (Walter Jamieson), “Trends in Hospitality Management” (Daniel Spears) and “Marketing and Product Development – U.S. Visitors” (Fredrick Collison).
