Dixons Stores Group Ireland, a division of the £6.5bn Dixons Group, announced that it has awarded a multi-million Euro contract to Irish logistics company Walsh Western International (WWI) to handle the warehousing and reverse logistics for their €107m business in Ireland.

WELL DONE TILBURG - OVERALL WINNERS OF WWI 5S!

Brian Enright, CEO of WWI is delighted to announce the Tilburg site in the Netherland’s, as the winners of the overall WWI 5S Award.
Tilburg was competing against all other WWI sites and have come up trumps with results and for overall effort.
In August, depts.’s within each site in WWI were awarded prizes for highest scores and achieving maximum marks.
Prizes were also awarded to all program participants for the excellent effort and improvement which resulted from this BPI project.
So congrats Tilburg and keep up the good effort WWI!

 
WWI ANNUAL GOLF DAY IN DRUIDS GLEN

On Friday the 13th of August 2004, Walsh Western held it's annual Golf Day in Druid's Glen. The event was a great success.

Walsh Western would like to thank everyone for their participation in the day and their most generous contributions to the Charity. This year €6,000 was raised for the DEBRA charity (Irish Chapter), for more information about the charity, please visit http://www.debra.org.uk/
